Emphonic is a platform for making collective physiological states audible — turning the invisible dynamics of shared presence into immersive sound environments. We're building something that doesn't exist yet, and we're looking for partners who see why it should.

The opportunity

At the convergence of three emerging fields.

Emphonic operates at the intersection of consciousness research, immersive technology, and collective experience design. Each of these fields is growing independently — but the space where they converge is largely unexplored.

This is a first-mover position in a domain that spans artistic exhibition, wellness and therapeutic application, educational settings, research collaboration, and experiential technology.

The platform is modular and scalable — designed to power intimate installations of 2–4 participants as well as large-scale exhibitions of 30+. The same core architecture serves galleries, research labs, festivals, and institutional settings.

Where we are and what's ahead.

We're in Phase 1 — establishing core system behaviors and validating the fundamental premise through working prototypes. The conceptual framework, system architecture, and initial aggregation logic are in place.

Phase 1 — Current

Foundation & proof of concept

Core biometric sensing, real-time processing pipeline, initial audio synthesis. Small-group prototypes demonstrating that collective states can be meaningfully sonified. Establishing technical validation and community engagement frameworks.

Phase 2

Advanced capabilities

Expanded module development, sophisticated emotional intelligence, enhanced spatial audio, and visual generation. Full event-driven architecture supporting diverse participant configurations and adaptive learning.

Phase 3

Experience design & adaptation

Comprehensive experience design implementation, contextual adaptation systems, accessibility, and artistic collaboration. Preparing the platform for diverse deployment contexts and cultural settings.

Phase 4

Deployment & community

Scalable installation systems, facilitator training, partnership frameworks, and community-based validation. Moving from prototype to a platform that can be deployed and maintained across venues.
